The Dawes rolls are being used to determine citizenship, NOT DNA.
DNA would be okay if used with documents.
As far as the Creek freedmen are concerned, I feel that they are still under the 1866 treaty as other nations and DNA is not needed.
Also, trying to establish a blood degree when there was no requirement under the 1866 treaty, will only hurt a lot of freedmen (wanting to be put back into the nation) because so many documents were lost or destroyed that could be used for proof of blood.
There are freedmen that are mixed!!!!
