(Rev.)John Sergeant and Abigail are my 5th great-grandparents through their grand-granddaughter, Emily b. 1816 b.1876, daughter of Erastus Sergeant Jr. who married Willaim G. Harper 10-7-1838 in or near Middlebury IN (bother buried), or Coldwater MI where she taught in a girls school.They had 9 children, one of which was my great-grandfather Charles A. Harper, who had George R. Harper, who had Rosemary, my mother, of Goshen IN.
Rev. John Sergeant's father, Jonathan's father was also Jonathan b. 1641 d. >1701 m. Martha. His father (grandfather)was also Jonathan d. 12-12 1651.
