Re: Noble Jacobs/1900 Census
In Response To: Re: Noble Jacobs/1900 Census ()
True Scott jacobs is not on census card #197 with his family because he is married to Rachel jacobs (He is just on a separate census card #129 alone for whatever reason, separation maybe). Also, nor is his brother, Noble Jacobs on #197. He is married and with his wife Charity. Dollie, (Scott's and Noble's sister) is the only one left at home with their mother (Sarah jacobs). Look at the census. Rachel CANNOT be Noble Jacobs' sister. Why, because Rachel's parents were GRAYSON, Jane Grayson and Britain Grayson HAD RACHEL. Joe Hutton, Sr.,(Creek freedmen) married Martha, and they had a daughter by the name of Jane. Jane married Britan Grayson had a daughter by the name of Rachel. Rachel married SCOTT JACOBS. On that 1900 census posted, you will see that there is a Rachel Jacobs on it with her two children. Logically thinking, the children belonging to Rachel, Scott Jacobs fathered. both sisters Rachel Grayson and Charity Grayson married two brothers, Scott Jacobs and Noble Jacobs. If you will look further, you will find that Rachel is listed with her children, and guess who the father is? SCOTT JACOBS Also, as to how many other children Scott had by other women, is okay with me, I am just a descendant, looking for my ancestors whomever they might be. History is very interesting.
