I allowed that Rachel may have been a sister-n-law to Noble.
Scott is not on card #197, his parents are, but he isn't. Yes, John and Sarah are the parents.
Scott is the only individual listed on card #129, I assume because he is single. Both he and Rachel are listed as single, and living apart, in the 1900 census.
Card #1340 seems to indicate that Charity and Noble were married, verified by the 1900 census.
Rachel and Charity are sisters. I still can't say Rachel married Scott.
Peter, Nancy, and Mariah were also living with Sarah in 1900.
As to Scott's other child, I didn't know if you had that information. Was he married to Mary and she chose to use her maiden name? The child is listed as JACOBS on the census card and JEFFERSON in the census.
As you stated earlier, marriage is a moot question. We know who the babies daddies is.
