Well now, what to make of this?
1900-IT-Creek Nation-Twshp 11-Ed 65-Sheet 1A & B:
Jacobs, Noble head b m --- --- 25 m2
Charity wife b f --- --- 22 m2 1-1
Jackson, Clinton step-son b m --- --- 6
Jacobs, Rachel sister (huh!) b f 21 *S* 2-2
John nephew 2
Osborne nephew Feb 1900 3/12
Jacobs, Sarah head b f 50 wd 7-7
Doilie dau b f 30 3-3
Peter son 22

Ben g-son 1
Neal g-son Mar 1900 2/12
OK. Scott and Noble or brothers. Rachel is listed as Noble’s sister, which means, perhaps, she’s Scott’s sister as well. Yet, Scott is the father of her children? Or should that read *sister-n-law* and the S means separated (which is usually shown as sep) rather than single.
Hope this helps.
