The Rachel GRAYSON of your post is 39 years of age and the Rachel JACOBS of Dawes Commission Creek census card #1341 was 21 years of age in 1898 which means she should have been no more than 23 years of age in 1900. Therefore the two Rachels listed above are not the same?
Customarily, husband and wife were enrolled on the same census card. Although Rachel was listed with a JACOBS surname, she is the only adult on card #1341, while her children’s father was enrolled on census card #129. And again, Scott is enumerated as single (not widowed or divorced) on the 1900 federal census. Until we come across a marriage certificate or Dawes testimony to the contrary, I have to conclude they were never married. (Or married and annulled?)
