I just did a quick google search for Nancy Weakwise, Weakwise family, and just Weakwise, and there was NOTHING except two hits that were not names..so I'm thinking that's not the right spelling...Could it be spelled another way? Do you have the name written on an old document? We almost lost my Padilla line altogether because first, one of the "kids" from one branch changed the name to Paddie, and later, someone spelled Padilla as Padier..My folks could'nt read or write, so it was other people writing it for them..I can just hear it now..My family says to a census taker their name is Padilla, and the census taker says it with an R on the end, and spells it that way..It's incredible we can track any family very far back at all..
