Angela, It appears to me that the John Sneed on the 1900 Census (sorry I meant to include the image which is at the link below) and the John Sneed on the Creek Roll Citizens by Blood and the John Sneed on the Dept of the Int Comm to 5 Civil. Tribes, is all the same John Sneed. I even believe that the John Sneed on the WWI Draft registration, is the same John Sneed as on the other three documents. I just am not certain this John Sneed is my John Sneed. My John Sneed married my ancestor and had a child by her in 1931 (on my 1st cousin's birthday). As for John Sneed being born in LA, and being a part of or not being a part of the Creek Nation, I do not know. Does this mean that this John Sneed is not a Freedman? That he is considered just African American? Also, Charlie H. Sneed was the one born in 1862; his son John Sneed was 17 at the date on the Interior Commission record, which makes his DOB, c 1887, which lines up with the 1900 Census Record. What do you think? I need to search for more documentation?
