Richard Atkins is a different family. The names you mentioned come from the Davis/Davidson family.
The whole enrollment process done by the Dawes Commission in regards to determining blood quantum, makes no sense to me because when asking the various Davis/Davidson's families about their blood quantum, it was different each time. You know that the freedmen could not read nor write so they knew nothing about blood quantums.
For example looking at the old series cards you will have siblings with the SAME parents (mother and father), but with the blood quantum changing for example, from no blood (colored), 1/2, 1/4 or 3/4.
Negro blood determined that these families would be transferred to the freedmen roll. You could be a mixed blood freedmen on the freedmen roll because of the mother's status as a slave.
