Calhoun's parents according to the census card #858 was Sally (Davidson) Murrell and Kellop Murrell. Murrell is sometimes spelled differently.

I am wanting to point out that there are two Sallys. One mentioned above and the other is the sister of Lucy Sookey (Sally Sookey). Lucy's parents are listed as Wiley Sookey and Sally Sookey. Really a total of 3 Sallys (the wife included).

On the 1900 census for Wiley Sookey, Calhoun's son, Crawford, is mentioned as the grandson of Wiley Sookey. The parents of Crawford were Calhoun Murrell and Lucy (Sookey) Murrell.

So, the Sookey, Murrells and davidson families are related to each other.
