Re: Creek Freedmen Lawsuit
In Response To: Re: Creek Freedmen Lawsuit ()

Wotko 79,
Thanks for the information lead. This will help our efforts in proving our cause(s). Much injusticies have occurred over the years without provacation. Being a Freedmen in a hostical enviornment is something that no human should experience. No one is responsible for being born of parents that are different than others. What we are trying to accomplish is what God gave us and that is our citizenship granted to us by the Treaty of 1866. The treaty did not require a blood degree, however, down threw the years a blood degree was require to be a citizen. This procedure was designed to preclude any an all person with African from being a citizen of the Creek Nation. However, a few mixed blood with parent/grandparents on the by blood roll were included. Citizenship is not base on blood but orgin of birth. Racism is alive and sick.
Those who promote racism were once a victim of racism and not they victimize others because of who they are(Freedmen).

Mvto,
Allen
