Re: Does Blood Really Matter?
In Response To: Does Blood Really Matter? ()

Posters, I have researched other Creek freedmen families that were transferred and it seems that most of the time the father was an Indian. When there were intermarriages the Negro woman married to an Indian was placed on the freedmen roll with her mixed blood children.

The following families are:

Andy, Albert, cc#1415
Price, Jennie, cc#1374
Scott, Martha, cc#1011
Sims, Rosie, cc#1011
Tiger, Alfred, cc#106
Tiger, Jennetta, cc#106
Williams, Alex, cc#1272
Williams, Mary, cc#1294
