Hello Lyle, If you are researching the history of the slave holder, you may want to see if he or his children were on the Dawes Rolls. However, beyond that, if you are hoping to find information those who were enslaved by the same person, since they were not on the Dawes Rolls, they will appear most likely in the 1900, 1910 census years. (There was no Federal Census conducted in the Territory in 1870, nor 1880.) You may also want to see if the Arkansas marriage records on Family Search, might hold a clue to a location where your gr. grandmother might be.
