Well posters, I have continued to research. I believe that Ned Holmes and Andrew Holmes are half brothers, being that they share the same father (Jack Holmes) but different mothers.

In Rootsweb.com, Dollie Jacobs' ahnentafel explains the family. Lucy Holmes, cc#1693 was married to Ned Holmes (although not mentioned). I noticed that Britain Grayson (family group 103) was also mentioned.
