Hi Mike Being a Creek Indian I would declare my ancestor as Creek Indians, they were then they are now,,,and I know some of the so called Freedman ladies would slap your face if you called them Freedman,,they sang the indian church songs and spoke only the Indian language as far as I am concerned I would say your are Creek Indians and nothing can change that..
