all that's true...but remember, living in an state other than where your tribe is located will not bring money to that tribe...however it will bring tribal funding to the state or area you live in...

I totally understand the point of 'why bother' if they won't enroll me, then why help that tribe out by marking their name...
Its something to think about...and we will all have different issues dealing with it...I personally recommend marking what ever tribe you think you should be part of..especially if you have children and grand children...because you never know what will happen in 72 years, could these records be used for verification of tribal identity...we don't have a crystal ball to know...its a good debate and a lot to consider.
Because I don't get any services or benefits from the MCN or being tribally enrolled, I am looking at from a genealogy and historical view.
