Hello Terry!!I am thinking why would you even put you census down? If you put Indian creek nation will get more money just like they have always done on your behalf and yet you are not regonized as members of a tribe,,,so somewhere you have to let Creek Nation know they cannot use you for their benifit...Creek Nation has always received money on your behalf,,you need to dhedk on that assumption,,every five years the Federal Goivernment wants to know what they have been doing with your money,,what can you say now??I suggest someone write a letter on behalf of the Freedman and tell Chief Ellis him since you are not recognized you will not be claiming your heritage on behalf of the Creek nation,,,and don't come to California unless another constitution is written allowing all persons on all 1890-95 rolls are enrolled again..just a thought!!Tell him also you California Freedman would be glad to help get the Creek Council House back!!Sounds good to me see if Ms Watson will write a letter to that effect.
