"There are too many ulterior motives in the Freedmen movement. The need of the people has to take precedent over personal gain or prestige.....it must not be active.....strength in numbers and we must organize in order for our voices to be heard."
Jason, just a few things that stood out...which has been stated before many, many times and I agree with you.
Can you tell us more about the ulterior motives and personal gains?
By the way, you made a statement about the Cherokee Freedmen getting all the attention and the other Freedmen issues are not being address by congress. I'm curios, have you received some information that congress has refused or they just don't want to deal with the other tribes...
I think Allen Mitchell and Grant Perryman have been working with a coalition of Freedmen descendants in Southern California...you may want to check with them to what they are doing...
But Jason, in all honesty bro...sacrifices, that is what is missing. No sacrifices from those who could help the most.
