Great points! My understanding is based on, in general, the founding of the 13 original colonies....Laws/Slavery...the physical expansion of the US via the Louisiana Purchases all the while Native people on the East were being forced West, Small Pox, and all the history inbetween...etc...etc...Both Eastern and Western history are different..(We are talking U.S. history here!)....

As for the early Spaniards moving around Africans, Africans of Spanish heritage, in most cases, baptised individuals, slave or free...this is true! But, in North American, the law of slavery (slaves for life and all of one's increase/s) begun in the colonies with a law passed by the House of Burgesess circa 1650s =/-...

History via the West most be studied just like the history on the East....
