Thanks for responding so soon. Actually, I live in Washington State. I was born in Omaha, NE -- my Alston family moved north to Omaha around 1912 to work in the packing houses.

I have Lisa Elizabeth Littlejohn b. around 1879 born to Spencer and Nora -- both born in SC. In 1900, the census lists Lizzie as "head of household" Lizzie Littlejohn 19 with:
Henrietta Littlejohn 18 - sister
Bessie Littlejohn 17 - sister
Spence Littlejohn 10 - nephew
Bayace Littlejohn 11 - nephew
Susie Littlejohn 23 - sister

My ggrandfather William Henry and his 1st wife Laura Warren were both born in Oktibehha County, MS. I have not traced anyone connected to any other MS county. However, I'm quite stuck -- anything is possible.

Lizzie married William Henry in 1907 - I have a copy of the marriage certificate. I have traced some deed activity, and know that she was alive in 1936. I have been unable to find a death certificate or locate a place of burial. I would love to know more about the Littlejohn family if you have any information.

As a coincidence - I have Littlejohn relatives in Omaha (through marriage). Ernest Littlejohn b. 1890 MS married my maternal Great Aunt Amberlena Mitchell in Omaha. Uncle Ernest's parents were from South Carolina.
