No... DNA testing is kind of beyond me right now (financially) but I've talked so much about having my Cherokee citizenship card when I first received it that my African husband says it would be interesting to have me one day be tested to see just what the various strands of my heritage are. I just know that Richard Ratliff had a son by the same name. I did find a post online that said that several of his slaves were mulattoes... Not sure it that meant they may have been his kids by his slaves women. My mother's folks like most of the folks on this board had ties in the Cherokee Nation that went back so far we have yet to find out exactly when her people began living among the Cherokees. Just know it was before the Trail of Tears. I've watched Henry Gates African American Lives and would love to have the DNA testing done. I wish he'd do a program on the freedmen of Oklahoma's Native American Tribes.
