I live in Poland and if it would concerne anyone there are some Portees in the Pommerlen area its the far north region of Poland, I can say that most of the Portees living in the nort areas of Poland and Germany are related to me, they all decend from Franz Portee who came to Preussen (in the beggining of the XIX century) in the near of Olsztyn married Eleonor Raabe had 4 sons Albert, Paul, Norbert and Otto my g.grandfather. Otto had one son and two daughters, the son Adalbert (my grandfather) had two sons Alfred (my father) and Thomas Portee, Alfred had also two sons Lukas and me. The family tree that i had to do ( I study History on the University of Gdańsk) is more complex I just presented the branch that relates to me.
