Hi, my name as posted, is Rodolfo Siordia Dawson, my fathers name is Rodolfo Elias Siordia Zamorano, he is about 5'8, caucassian, black hair and deep blue eyes, im also about 5'6 green eyes, light brown hair and caucassian. My grandfathers name was Rodolfo Siordia Montaņo (RIP), he was caucassian light brown eyes and about 5'7, my fathers family lived in Nogales, Sonora, which is a city that has a direct border with Nogales, Arizona, as a fact it's split by the border. My dad is the third of five children. There is a strong tendency in our family for light colored skin and also colored eyes. From asking my dad I´ve learned that my grandfather was born in the northern region of Jalisco, Mexico (the state our family currently lives in), near Ahualulco. Our last name is not common, but from what I´ve investigated there is a strong tendency for a relatively high number of people with our last name to live in very specific areas, such as Jalisco, Mexico, Arizona, California, and Texas. Such distribution leads my intuition into thinking that if we came by sea from europe our entry point must have been through the eastern side of the US (Louisiana, Florida, Georgia,North and South Carolina, and Virginia), where mostly european travelers came, so in thet manner, most of europes inmigrants of that specific region, came mostly from France, Britain, and Italy.
My father tells me that his dad used to tell him that the family had come from Italy. I'm not sure but would thank anyone who could help us all find our origin. Thanks.
