My grandmother (Irene)is part Cherokee Indian. She was married to Hollis Portee (grandfather). We live near Columbia SC. I never had a chance to meet my grandfather because he died before I was born, but I heard he has a lot of children that I haven't met. There are Portee's in NC, GA, MD, and the DC area.
