To all the people who think they can just write books about a place and time really need to do more home work first. I read her book
and I thought she was talking about some place other than Loudoun
County, VA. But her book it the norm for books on Loudoun County
and I am trying my best to set the record clear on slavery and
after there. My family lived the experience of all the hard times in this county dating back to the mid 1700's. People who have the so called Masters and PHDs who want to attempt writing should just asked us first. Most if not all of have a vast amount of oral history that would tell them what to write however, they have told these same old lies for so long that they do know how to change. It is like the saying "That's my story and I am sticking to it". I only wish more A-A
would air their comments on these types of books.
