I am researching my family. I have gotten as far as my ggggrandmother whose name is Harriet Thomas/Thompson. She was born in VA abt 1840. I am unsure which county or city. She is in the 1880 census in Haywood county, TN. She possibly came to TN in the late 1850s or early 1860s. there are children listed born after 1860 but it is believed that she had other children one named Jennie that were born in VA. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it.
