There are a lot of descendants still in the southampton county area. I found your site by trying to do some research myself to trace my lineage back to Nat Turner. When I was about 5 my picture appeared in Jet Magazine with my father and some other relatives as being descendants of Nat Turner. My father used to have a newspaper article that was given to him from an aunt that traced us back through relatives, however it has become MIA.
