Thank you Dawn Ownings, yes I would appreciate any information you can provide, re: Hursts from Georgia. Thank you for responding.
Some details of my husbands family:
They originally were share croppers in a tiny town called Munnerlyn Georgia, prior to relocating to Savannah, Ga. I have been told that there are a lot of Hurst's in Burke County.
Munnerlyn is no longer on the Georgia Map.
There was a Berthia Burke of Burke County, who had a daughter Emma Hurst. There is also the mention of a Lucy Herrington.
It seems Berthia had land situated near the land of W.L. Lovett, B.F. Bargeron and J.I. Herrington.

I think there was a slave named Sally, who belonged to the Herringtons, who marred a Hurst.
