The information contained in the second paragraph of my previous post is wrong. The Francis Halley who left a will in Bedford Co. was not descended from the Halley/Simpson line. So it is possible that the Francis Halley in Kentucky was from that line. The rest of the information contained in my previous post is accurate as far as I can tell.
