Have any of you looked into the William and Mary Quarterly Magazine as a source. If not do look. In Volume 34 3rd ser. for the year 1977 is an article called"
Also the Virginia Historical Society publishes the same type of Quarterly and they should also be checked for the information. These two Quarterlies contain a wealth of information that everyone on this web site would do well to look into. I would think that your local Library or Historical Society would have these volumes. Do remember That we will be open for Garden Week in Virginia on April 26th starting at 10:00. The block ticket is cheaper! Also no one will be able to answer any questions on slave life, because none of them know anything about it. If you do come ask if I am there and then seek me out,I know next to nothing, but that is more then they will know I think April 26th is a wed. but to double check if you go on Google and type in Garden Week in Virginia and then somehow go to Richmond co. you can be more certain!
