I hope that I can be of help. The information is a result of my research of slaveholding families in the hope that I will learn more about members of my family who were slaves in their areas. I did cite my sources and will send them to you in a separate message. In an aside, there were basically 13 families from which all of the slaveholders in the Louisiana and Mississippi area were related. Some of the plantation owners lived in the northern states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, etc. Some of the owners had no contact with the slaves other than name association.
