Thanks for posting this material on the Baskervilles. My nephew from Ohio is a descendant of a Baskerville women who I believe was a free person of color from Mecklenburg, VA. Her name was POLLY (MARRY) BASKERVILLE b. ca. 1820. Could you do a lookup on the Meck. Neg. Register and see if Polly or Rebecca Baskerville is mentioned. This family had some social connections with the Mayhos in Ohio.
