: Emancipation Records 1713 -1860", by William L. Byrd III
: and am willing to do look-ups if anyone has the name of a slave
: and his possible owner. I had good luck with it myself, but
: didn't connect the names at first because I didn't know the last
: slaveowner's name. I just stumbled over records I was looking
: for because I knew the slaves I was looking for were one family
: group, and all of the names were together. So if anyone has any
: slaves they may think were freed and has at least a couple of
: names from a family group, maybe this book will help them.
