My father is extremly knowledgeable on the plantations, because he lived and worked on many of the plantations. He recognized cuddoes and true blue as well as Midway. My grandmother worked for the Wienges who now own the Singleton Plantation. I am trying to find out when the Wienges bought the plantation and how my family ended up on the plantation. I'm doing all this from RI. I wish and hope to go to SC within the next few months. I am a teacher in RI and I am determined to find out who I am and where I came from.
