After reading your post about sending for
and receiving your ancestor's Civil War
pension records, I took a second look at
the application and other papers my
ancestor sent in when he applied.

However, there was no listing of a name for
the former slaveowner. There was an entry
for the occupation before freedom.

Still, it was most helpful to me to see
your post -- Tips and clues can come from
any and everywhere.
