Found Slaveowners

I received information from the National Archives on my great great grandfather who died in Madison Parish, Louisiana and was from VA. Some of the questions asked were his occupation prior to enlistment which was slave, who his previous owners were (three were listed) and who his last owner was prior to enlistment. He also gave information about his previous wife (my great great grandmother),the date of her death and her maiden name. He remarried and gave that wife's name also. He also provided the name of the county he was born in (in VA).
His date of death was given and the amount of his pension at the time of his death. He also listed the names of his children and his daughters married names as of 1903, along with his son's name.
I'm still shocked that I received so much information and it really made my day. His name was Peter Robinson Sr.
