I just saw this. #37 Tapley Fowler Hawkins was my Great Great grandfather's older brother. He moved to Springfield, Oh. & passed away there. I'm interested in locating those slave narratives. Thanks.

Tap Hawkins & his wife, Susie Hawkins are both interviewed in this project. BTW, I knew Mr. & Mrs. Hawkins who lived on Dibert Ave. in Springfield, Ohio near the original Fulton Elementary School next door to my Aunt Blanche Fisco from the late 1920's.
