Im new to this site so please have patience with me. I did some research on my uncles family tree to see if hes related to me via blood. He married my great aunt. And its starting to seem like thats the case. Anyway, his ancestor is Shaver Vaughan and obviously Shaver's mother is Frances Vaughan. I was able to find two marriage certs that may interest all of you and maybe you can make some sense out of them.

Are you asking.. is both "Franky" Vaughn's are one in the same?
I'm not sure, yet. - However, according to William Massie of the Pharsalia Plantation in Massies Mill, on his slave list, and in his diary, slave "Shaw" bore 7 children with Franky Vaughn. These chillin's were:
Missouri Vaughn - William H. Vaughn - James Vaughn - Thomas Vaughn - Columbus Vaughn - Shafer, and Frank Vaughn
Interesting note about this surname of "Vaughn". It's often spelled as "Vaughan" in later census records.
