Barbara and Rashonda, Samuel Bicknell would be my GGG grandfather and Larkin Jones was his son. I have been doing research for at least 40 years and the only wife for Larkin is Ceestine Marinda Hammons. They were married for 47 years. It is very possible that Larkin had slaves because Samuel did. But I have never run across anything like that.
In regards to George and Lindsey, I have Sallie Anders as being the wife of George or of any slave connection. I show Lindsay being the wife of Iceola Walton and that she was a Negro. I have Harvey (Hobb) Bicknell and wife Martha Collier as being their parents and that Martha was also a Negro. I have never found many negros in the Bicknell family.
