That is notable, and thank you for your response; however, the Frances that I mentioned was born around 1817 and had children by the name of Mosura (Missouri), William, Columbus, Shaffer (various spellings), James, Thomas. I am of Shaffer's lineage. Frances is listed in the 1850 and 1860 census. There is a tie with the Hite name.
I do not have any death onformation on theis Frances Vaughan.

There is another Frances listed in the 1870 census, who was born around 1825, but this person is in the Amherst County census and has several young women living living in her household. (She seems too old to me to be the Frances of interest to me.)
