Newspaper Announcements
In Response To: Re: Mazique, August & Sarah ()

I'm sorry for jumping in here so many times, but I just thought of something I did to find lost members.
Newspapers have a Free section for High School and Family Reunions. Why not send a brief article and contact information to each city that you know has Mazigue members( they will edit anything too wordy. Make it brief and interesting). I would try to target communities with the black community newspapers. That's where all the good stuff goes. In my City the St Louis American is the paper. They won't run it for a long period of time so try to pick a holiday time period when you think it might be seen. All of you that have family connected to this surname can post the name of the 'black community paper' that information can be sent to in your hometown or any other town. News not connected with bad stuff is always needed.
Now there are many newspapers but we all have that one special one in our cities.
Come to think of it, is there a listing of the black community papers on line or in the Afrigeneas Archives that we can go to. If not, here's a start.
