It would be helpful if you gave us some dates of birth or time frame when these events took place for John Isaac, William James and Boyd. The dates don't have to be exact, but approximate would give us some "time frame context" in which to put these folks. I am assuming that most took place prior to the general emancipation in April 1865.
I am researching the Loving family beginning John Isaac Loving who established the family in Lovingston. He had a son named William. William had a son names James, James had a son named Boyd. Boyd was my great grandfather. Even though James was married to Nancy Loving he had Boyd by a slave Rebecca Buggy. I would love to find her family. I believe she was a slave of Seaton even though I can't find her on his list. Seaton was James' brother. James' brother, Samuel had a slave named Granville who begat the other African American Loving family that I am cousin with. Boyd makes my family blood relative but Granville was a slave and I want to know is there any way he had any blood connection with Samuel Loving and the Loving family. Please help me find information on Rebecca Loving and her descendents. I have done so much research on the Loving family and pretty much have finished. I want to meet my great grandmother's descendents now. The Giles family is part of the African American Loving family. I hate making a difference because there is no difference. We are all Lovings AA or Caucasian. My family just so happens to connect through blood into the Caucasian family through James Loving.
