It would have been better if the celebrity did some of the research themselves. You can see that a genealogist and or researcher did all the work and they just jet-setted to whatever city or state and ask questions.

I missed the first one with Sarah J. Parker but watched it on NBC.com, I really enjoyed Emmett Smith's, but I thought that he didn't show much emotion in meeting his cousin in the store or gas station.

They didn't say much about the family members that they could not find, as I felt that is what had happened with one of Mr. Smith's paternal line. They just focused on one ancestor more and not the other.

I'm surprised that they did not do a DNA test on Ms. Parker or is that just reserved for the Black celebrities? Did her mother not know exactly where her people came from? A DNA test would have solved that.
