You mean you found a book that had just been sitting around the house since the 1820's? Amazing! I would suggest donating it (or a copy) to the State Archive or library. That way, if one of the descendants starts to trace his ancestry, he'll up sooner or later at that archive - and the book will be there waiting for them.
