If you have the time, you should check the slave schedule for the town you suspect they came from page by tedious page. That is what I had to do with the Orange County 1860 schedule to find my great great grand mother Easter's owner Elsey Harris. His name had been so badly mangled that I would have never found it otherwise. You can search a few pages, remember where you left off and then keep going back until you've slogged through the entire county/township.
