I am new to this web site but I read with interest your reply to "Gwen" concerning Lockett slaveholders(re;2006)I am currently researching my g-grandparents, Robert and Sarah(moseley)Lockett who we think may have been two of the 85 slaves owned by David Lockett.How can this be verified ? If you have found information on this slaveholder I would be pleased if you could share your sources with me.
