I'm not contradicting you, nor am I arguing with you. I'm just telling you what I have on this family. My family weren't slaves of the Burtons or these Williams, I'm a descendant of John Williams brother, William Williams. The Williams brothers were partners with Col. Richard Henderson in the Transylvania venture when they bought the land that became Kentucky. William died at Boonesborough in one of his trips there, probably in an Indian attack. My Williams name doesn't come from this line however, it comes from my Warren Co. ancestors who were slaves of the families from that County.
