Re: Baskerville & Nelson Cole estate records/deeds
In Response To: Re: Baskerville & Nelson Cole estate records/deeds ()
This site might give me some additional answers regarding the Baskerville connection. I can go back to 1880 Census entry with Ruben (38 yrs. old) and Julia A. Baskerville (35 yrs. old)and their daughter Estelle (9 yrs. old), who is my great-grandmother, are listed. They lived in the Boydton Dist., Mecklenburg County. I believe I located Julie A. on the slave list of Mark Alexander and Ruben was also on that same list. (Ruben's name was spelled Rubin) I can't find anything on my grandmother, Maud Baskerville, DOB 8 October 1889. There are no 1890 census records. Are there any other resources for that time frame in that locale that I could access? I found in the 1920 Census Ruben Baskerville (83yrs.); Mittie Baskerville (60yrs.) wife; Pettie Good(23yrs.)step-daughter. Questions regarding a divorce from Julia A. is listed in 1910 census. Anyone out there belonging to this line of Baskervilles? Thank you.
