It takes at least 60 days to get copies of draft and military records. I ordered a copy of my father's record and this was before the '911'. It took 60 days. I had forgotten I made the request. With all the security restrictions things are a lot more difficult if you are not a close relative, such as sibling or child. I am hoping someone who visits or lives near the archives in the California area can check records and see if the names are on record. I would like as much information possible.
