PEARL "MAMA PEARL" GOODWINE, 85, of Plant City died Saturday at South Florida Baptist Hospital. A native of Fort McCoy, she moved to Plant City more than 70 years ago. She was a member of Grand Union Pallbearers and Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church in Bealsville, where she was Mother of the Church, an attendee of Sunday school and the prayer and Bible studies, and a member of the stewardess board and missionary society. She is survived by a son, Keith Williams of Beaufort, S.C., two daughters, Erma McDonald and Leila Shaw, and an adopted daughter, Vera Micher, all of Plant City; two sisters, Doretha Knight of Plant City and Lover Arline of Camden, N.J.; a brother, Samuel Richardson of Chattahoochee; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
